The Rogue River Valley University Club gives professionals a vibrant place to make connections, expand your network and friendships that will last a lifetime.

Our History

In the late 1800s, the Rogue Valley’s captivating Mediterranean climate and thriving economy caught the attention of East Coast and Midwest families. Upon settling here, they formed close bonds with Rogue Valley locals. They soon dreamt of having a space where they could gather outside of home and work, which led to the creation of the Rogue River Valley University Club in 1910.

The club founders were among the earliest leaders in Oregon’s orchard, timber, banking and manufacturing industries, and graduated from some of the most well-known universities in the country. The club continued to grow over the years, and reached more than 200 members in the 1980s and 1990s.

Today, club members participate in local decision making, charitable activities and political forums. Members frequently represent Southern Oregon interests in state and national politics and forums.

Our members also love where they live and want to build lifelong connections. That’s why we provide members with a variety of opportunities to learn and grow, including our lively guest speaker sessions where you could chat with local leaders. Or if you’re hungry for more intimate conversations, visit the club for one of our weekday lunches in our cozy dining room.

The club’s social calendar has an ongoing rotation of fun events, such as our exclusive member gatherings, sips of fine wines and brews, and club dinners bursting with local flavors. Also, you could book our top-notch facilities for your events.
